Research is key to understanding autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and to developing and delivering evidence-based services that empower Autistic individuals.

Autism Nova Scotia supports research that promotes systemic change, fosters greater understanding and acceptance of autism, and helps inform programs and services that reflect the diverse needs of the autism community.

Reseachers must complete an application form and provide a copy of ethics approval. Once reviewed and approved, we may share the research opportunity on our website. Please note that all studies must include some form of compensation for Autistic participants in recognition of their time and expertise.
