“As I reflect on the dream Jack and I shared, the work we have done, and the continuing needs of the autism community, I am proud to support the Cynthia Carroll Endowment for Autism – a dedicated fund to help Autism Nova Scotia provide programs & services for many years to come. Please consider supporting the Endowment with a gift or bequest in your will and, like me, leave a legacy you can be proud of.”
  - Joan M. Craig, Founder, Autism Nova Scotia

Leaving a Legacy through a planned gift to Autism Nova Scotia offers you the opportunity to make a lasting difference for children, youth, and adults with autism in this province.

In 2017, Joan Craig made a gift of $1,000,000 to launch the Cynthia Carroll Endowment for Autism. The principal of all gifts to this fund will be maintained intact in perpetuity, with the investment income drawn down annually to support the sustainability of Autism Nova Scotia . We are humbled to present this as an option for you to consider as you reflect on your values, and your vision for a better future.

Autism Nova Scotia commits to honouring your wishes, and to recognizing your dedication and support in ways that you find most meaningful.

Whether you choose to leave a gift in your will or by some other means, a Legacy gift can provide significant tax benefits for your estate. Your financial advisor can help you choose a gift vehicle that is right for you.

By leaving a gift to Autism Nova Scotia in your will designated to the Cynthia Carroll Endowment for Autism, you can ensure that Nova Scotians with autism have access to social and recreation opportunities, respite and family support, pre-vocational training and successful transition to the workplace, and much more.

Your gift will continue to give hope to future generations of children, youth, and adults on the Autism Spectrum and their families across the province, at every age and stage of their lives.
Thank you for considering this powerful and meaningful way to change the future for Nova Scotians with autism and their families.
